Up to $10,000 a month in free ads, if your church uses it well
Google Ad Grants gives eligible nonprofits, including many churches, free search ads every month. Most churches either never apply or struggle to keep the account active. We handle both.
What's different here
Google Ad Grants offers eligible nonprofits up to $10,000 a month in Google search ads. Many churches qualify through their own 501(c)(3) status or a denomination's group exemption. The grant has rules. Ads run on search only. Accounts must keep a minimum click-through rate, follow keyword quality rules and track meaningful conversions. Bids are capped unless you use Google's automated conversion bidding. Accounts that break the rules can be suspended. The bigger challenge is using the money well. Ads should answer real searches, like a church near me, a specific denomination in your town, a recovery group, a food pantry or help with grief. Each ad should lead to a page with a clear next step, like planning a visit or joining a group. We set up and manage the account within Google's policies and report on visits planned and people connected, not just clicks.

What paid ads looks like for churches.
These are the plays that wouldn't appear on a generic paid ads page. They only make sense in churches & ministries.
Eligibility and application
We check your charitable status, website and policies, then guide you through Google for Nonprofits and the Ad Grants application.
Campaigns built around real needs
Ads for service times, denominations, children's and youth programs, support groups and community services people actually search for.
Staying compliant
Click-through rate, keyword quality and conversion tracking monitored monthly, so the account stays active.
Pages that lead to a visit
Each ad points to a page with a clear next step, like planning a visit, joining a group or contacting a pastor.
What holds churches back
Websites written for members
Many church sites are full of internal events, ministry names and insider language. A guest looking for service times, parking and what to wear has to dig.
Hard to find on the map
Searches like 'church near me' or 'Catholic church in [town]' are decided in Google Maps. An incomplete or outdated profile sends people somewhere else.
Free ad money left unused
Many eligible churches never apply for Google Ad Grants, or let the account lapse because it's hard to manage within Google's rules.
Volunteers carry the load
Websites and social media often depend on one busy staff member or volunteer. Without a simple system, updates stop and information goes stale.
Same rigor, applied here.
The full paid ads scope and process are identical whoever the client is. What changes for churches & ministries is the tactics above, not the delivery model.

Churches & Ministries questions, answered straight.
Many churches can run a grant account themselves with time and training. Others find the rules hard to keep up with, and accounts get suspended or sit unused. Management makes sense when the free budget would otherwise go to waste.
