Juno Takahashi

Creative Director

Juno runs the creative studio, which produces up to 40 assets a month per account at full capacity. Their central argument is that creative is now the primary targeting mechanism on paid social, and that shipping four assets a month guarantees decline regardless of how good those four are.

They built the angle-and-hook matrix that turns creative production from an ideas problem into a systematic backlog, and the practice of shipping five alternate openers with every asset so hooks can be tested independently of the body.

They also lead brand identity work, where the recurring recommendation is to look deliberately unlike the category — most memorably talking a developer-tools client into going light-mode in an all-dark category.

They also hold the line on how creative gets judged, which is the part clients push back on most. Hook rate and hold rate get read separately — one tells you whether the opening earned attention, the other whether the rest deserved it — because a single blended completion number sends teams into re-shooting footage that was never the problem. Roughly a third of the assets they salvage are recovered by re-cutting an opening onto material that already worked.
