The top farm county in America deserves better than a brochure website.

Fresno County grows more by value than any other county in the US. Growers, processors, ag suppliers, health systems and local service businesses all compete here, and most still market like it's 2010. Competition for Fresno marketing searches is low.

Market profile

What's actually different about Central Valley

Fresno is California's fifth-largest city, with about 550,000 people, and the anchor of a metro of about 1 million across Fresno and Madera counties.

Agriculture drives it. Fresno County reported a record $9.03 billion in crop and livestock value for 2024 and took back the top spot among US farm counties. Almonds led at about $1.45 billion, then grapes at about $1.04 billion and pistachios at about $859 million. A study of the county's farm economy put its total impact at about $21.7 billion, with roughly 63,000 jobs supported directly.

That creates a big B2B market most people don't see: equipment dealers, irrigation and water tech, packers and processors, cold storage, trucking, crop insurance and ag lenders. Their buyers are growers and operations managers who research online, often on a phone in the field.

Healthcare is the largest private employer group. Community Health System calls itself the region's largest private employer, with more than 13,000 staff, alongside Saint Agnes Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente's Fresno Medical Center.

The job market is tougher than California's average. The Fresno metro's unemployment rate was 8.1% in April 2026, one of the highest among large US metros, and farm jobs swing sharply with the season. California's high-speed rail is under active construction through the Central Valley, but the project still faces a multibillion-dollar funding gap.

The region is also one of the most diverse in California. A large share of residents are Latino, and Fresno has one of the largest Hmong communities in the country, which matters for language and message choices.

Growers buy from people they trust, and check online first

A grower choosing an equipment dealer, an irrigation contractor or a crop advisor still values relationships. But they look you up first, often on a phone between fields. A fast mobile site with clear services, service areas and real local proof is what gets you the call.

Seasons drive everything

Planting, irrigation, harvest and packing seasons move demand for equipment, labor, trucking and services. Budgets that stay flat all year waste money in slow months and run short at harvest. We pace spend to the ag calendar.

Bilingual marketing isn't optional here

A big share of customers and workers speak Spanish, and some communities speak Hmong. Spanish-language pages, ads and Google Business Profile details reach people your competitors miss. Hiring campaigns for seasonal staff need it most.

Low competition, so specific pages win

Google rates 'marketing agency Fresno' as low competition. Many local businesses have thin, dated sites with no pages for the towns they serve, like Clovis, Madera, Visalia or Selma. Clear, specific local pages rank here quickly.

In their words

The part clients actually remember.

Not the reports. The uncomfortable conversation that changed the trajectory.

Two consultants told us to add more pages. Digital Squad told us to delete 34,000 of them from Google. I honestly thought they had misunderstood the business. Traffic quadrupled.
Fintan MulcahyHead of Growth, Tessellate
Our lead numbers went down by two thirds and our revenue went up. It took me a quarter to stop flinching at the dashboard. Sales stopped complaining about marketing leads for the first time in six years.
Roland AchterbergCommercial Director, Girdwell Controls
They told us to switch off the marketing that was generating most of our leads. Every instinct said no. Our partners now spend their time on work they're actually good at, and we bill nearly twice as much per engagement.

Local questions

Fresno questions, answered straight.

Yes, and competition is low. Growers and farm managers search for specific things, like a crop, a problem, a piece of equipment or a service near them. Pages built around those searches, with clear service areas and proof from local farms, bring in serious buyers.
