Market profile

What's actually different about Port St. Lucie & the Treasure Coast

Port St. Lucie had an estimated 268,000 people in 2025. A Miami Realtors analysis of Census estimates ranked it the fastest-growing of the country's 91 largest cities for the fifth year in a row, up about 3.5% between July 2024 and July 2025, or roughly 9,100 people, and up 29.6% since 2020.

St. Lucie County as a whole reached about 402,000 people in 2025, up 22% since 2020. Palm Beach County to the south grew about 5.6% over the same period. HUD's 2024 market analysis found the county's growth has come entirely from people moving in.

Much of the new building is in Tradition and the master-planned communities west of I-95, along with healthcare facilities like Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital. The New York Mets hold spring training in Port St. Lucie, which brings a burst of visitors each February and March.

Fast growth means new households that don't yet have a go-to provider for anything. That makes local search, reviews and new-mover marketing unusually valuable here.

New residents search for everything

People who just moved haven't picked a dentist, doctor, mechanic or HVAC company yet. They search, read reviews and choose quickly. Businesses with strong Google profiles and clear websites capture them before habits form.

Growth is happening west of I-95

Tradition, Southern Grove and other new communities are filling up fast. Pages and Google profiles that mention those neighborhoods catch searches that a general 'Port St. Lucie' page misses.

Competition is rising too

New franchises and businesses open to serve the growing population. Being early in local search, with a head start on reviews, is a lasting advantage.

Web design leads local search

Google's data shows about 320 monthly searches for 'web design Port St. Lucie', rated low competition, far more than for SEO or agency searches. A focused page can rank well.

In their words

The part clients actually remember.

Not the reports. The uncomfortable conversation that changed the trajectory.

We spent four months optimizing audiences when the answer was 'make more ads.' Digital Squad didn't just tell us that. They built the system that produces them. We haven't touched an audience setting in months.
Priya RaghunathanVP Growth, Atlas Foods
Our board's biggest concern was that growth stopped the moment we stopped spending. Eighteen months later most of our pipeline comes from an asset we own. That changed our fundraising conversation entirely.
Sofia LindqvistCMO, Verdant
For two years marketing and finance argued about numbers in every board meeting. Digital Squad ended that argument by building one source of truth. The $2.1M we stopped wasting was almost a side effect.
